#beautyheals
Rest and Renewal for weary souls
#beautyheals offers an accessible and transformational space in the mountains for individuals and groups to experience nature, renewal, and healing in a variety of ways.
Hubbed near Golden Gate State Park in Golden, #beautyheals offers opportunities for individuals and groups within our relational and non-profit network of people who work in hard places to experience the healing and transformation that happens in the beauty of the Colorado rockies. In addition to the house, the property has a contemplative path, archery range, and perfect places for outdoor experiences.
Similar to #waterheals, #beautyheals is dedicated to breaking down barriers to experiencing the mountains as well as creating opportunities for free and low-cost workshops, retreats and experiences for people who often can’t attend. With amazing panoramic views and easy access to Denver, #beautyheals also offers outdoor retreats, contemplative walks, art workshops, and facilitated community space to interact with nature’s beauty on the property as well as in and around Golden Gate State Park. We partner with The Refuge and Transforming Creatives to offer Forest Church in Summer and Fall on the property and are part of the Wild Church Network.
#beautyheals Land Acknowledgement
We acknowledge that the land we are benefitting from right now is not ours. It was stolen from the people who lived here for many generations–the Cheyenne, Ute, and Arapaho. While we cannot change past history, we can participate in a better future through awareness, education, repentance, and reparations. Humility, not shame, is the path of healing. We come humbly today with gratitude for this land’s beauty and grief over how our use of it has come to pass. We will do our best to give back–financially and through raising awareness and remaining committed to learning–to honor use of this land.
#communityheals contributes a portion of all donations to Herbal Wellness Gardens, an indigenous community advocacy organization dedicated to “protecting inherent rights of Indigenous and Native Populations including health and wellness, environmental preservation and research, and to build capacity for current and future Native and Indigenous generations.”
